Valerie Bertinelli didn't win a Daytime Emmy Award this weekend, but she did get to Indulge in some quality time with her boyfriend.

Bertinelli, 64, was nominated as an outstanding culinary host for her work on Valerie's Home Cooking. Bertinelli was also nominated for the now-canceled Food Network series — which was nominated for outstanding culinary series.

Bertinelli's boyfriend, Mike Goodnough, was there to support her — the pair made their red carpet debut at the Daytime Emmys on June 7 and June 8 at the Westin Bonaventure in Los Angeles. Goodnough also shared some sweet moments of their night out on Instagram.

"Night two of the Daytime Emmy’s was another good time," said Goodnough, who goes by Hoarse Whisperer on Instagram. "Unfortunately, Valerie didn’t take home a statue, but she presented several awards and was charming and looked radiant as heck. In keeping with what is now tradition, we skipped out hastily and went home to eat pizza."

One picture features the chef smiling big, holding a slice of pizza. Bertinelli and Goodnough also posed on the red carpet in black ensembles. The chef finished off her look with glasses when she presented at the award show.

Goodnough continued: "Love this woman. Love being her 'and guest.' I’ll go to anything you invite me to, @wolfiesmom. The Emmy’s. The grocery store. Whatever." Goodnough concluded his post joking that the couple has "big 'senior prom' energy" in the first picture he posted.

Valerie's Home Cooking premiered on Food Network in 2015, featuring the actress and friends (including Betty WhiteHoda Kotb and Mackenzie Phillips) as she modernized recipes passed down through her family before enjoying dinner with her guests. It ran for 14 seasons until April 2023.

At the time of the cancellation, Bertinelli announced in an Instagram post that the 14th season of Valerie's Home Cooking would be its last.

"Food Network canceled us last summer, I have no idea why. And I didn't say anything last summer because honestly, I was hoping they would change their mind. But they have not. So this is it, this is the final season," she said in the Instagram video.
