Vanessa Hudgens and her professional baseball player husband, Cole Tucker, are one of the cutest celebrity couples out there with their relationship being full of romantic moments, sweet gestures, PDAs and more.

They first met four years ago, following her split from Austin Butler, and have since tied the knot and announced the very exciting news that they're having a baby! We can't believe Gabriella from High School Musical is all grown up 🥹.

December 2020

Okay, we don’t know the official first day Vanessa and Cole started dating, but it was definitely around here based on their anniversary post (we’ll get to that in a moment).

What we do know is that these two met during a Zoom meditation group, and Vanessa was so smitten that she slid into Cole’s DMs. “I found him and we started talking, and yeah, it’s wild that, yeah, we found each other over Zoom,” she said on the The Drew Barrymore Show.

“I’m such a go-getter. If I want something or someone, I’m going after them. I fully just slid into his DMs and was like, ‘Hey, it was nice to meet you.’ So I think there is no shame in making the first move. If you want it, why wait for someone else to give you what you want?”

Vanessa opens up about how “hard” wedding planning is during an appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show. “Finding a venue is tough. I kind of just wanna elope,” she admits. “I really… I’m lost. I don’t know.”

The actor then goes on to note that Cole is down for anything when it comes to their nuptials. “I mean, he just wants to get married to me,” she gushes. “He’s like, ‘Whatever you want, babe.’” Literally couldn't be more obsessed with these two if we tried!

Vanessa talks all things the holidays during an appearance on Today With Hoda and Jenna saying, “[Cole is] just not, like, a seasonal person...He didn't grow up super celebrating the holidays.”

“I definitely come up with costumes for us, and I get it, and I'm like, 'Here you go babe!' And he throws it on and he's down to do it,” she adds.

The High School Musical alum also opens up about her thoughts on switching her last name in preparation for her nuptials: “Yeah, I'm probably going to take it. Professionally, it's obviously going to stay the same, but yeah. Mrs. T.” Cute!

December 2023

Vanessa and Cole are married! They tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Mexico, with their beautiful ceremony pics published by Vogue on 6 December, along with a sweet interview on how the day unfolded.

“The planning process was definitely overwhelming,” Vanessa admitted to the outlet. “I knew I’d never been to a wedding that I’ve wanted my own wedding to be like, so I had to think out of the box.

"Finding a venue was the hardest part,” she continued, with them finally settling on the Azulik Hotel in Tulum.

“I knew that it was our place,” she gushed. “I felt like I was transported to some kind of utopia, unlike anything I had ever been to before. It was whimsical and magical, and I just fell in love.”

As for her wedding dress, it was a gorgeous Vera Wang number that Vanessa recalls as being perfect as soon as she tried it. “I put it on, and I was like ‘It’s perfect. It’s easy, it’s simple, and it’s chic.

"It was exactly what I wanted, but we obviously had to spruce it up a little and add some extra love to it so that it was special, just for me. I wanted it to look like I was floating and loved the cape and veil combo.” I'm not crying, you are!
