Vanessa Hudgens is confirming her little one has arrived.

The High School Musical alum, 35, shared her first message since welcoming her first baby with her MLB player husband Cole Tucker.

In an Instagram Story shared on Thursday, July 4th, Hudgens' maternal instincts were on display as she acknowledged she wasn't the first to share her news. TMZ was first to report the birth.

"We're disappointed that our family's privacy was disrespected and exploited during this very special time due to the greed of a long lens camera feeding the media," she wrote.

She added, "Despite all of that, mom dad and baby are happy and healthy."

The child's birthdate, sex and name are not known. Hudgens and Tucker were seen leaving a Santa Monica hospital on Wednesday, July 3, which also happened to be Tucker's 28th birthday.

Hudgens shared a birthday wish for her husband the day prior.

"Happy birthday to my slice of heaven @cotuck 🥳," Hudgens wrote in a post on Instagram as she shared a carousel of cute photos with the baseball player, whom she wed in December. "You make the world a brighter place just by being you ♥️🤟🏽."

Hudgens has kept quiet about her family life in the lead up to welcoming her little one. In May, she told E! News that she plans to show her kids "all [her] work."

"That's why I chose things along the way in my career," she said of her resumé. "I wanted to make sure that when I did have kids, there would be something for them to watch at every age."

During her pregnancy, the actress juggled her various work responsibilities, including finishing filming on Bad Boys: Ride or Die.

Co-star Will Smith praised her as a "hard worker," telling Entertainment Tonight, "It was really [about] trying to figure out how to shoot around [the bump]."

"You'll always be able to tell your child that they were in this scene with you," the actor, a father of three himself, added.
