Variety Announces Additional Programming for Entertainment Summit at CES

Variety has added additional speakers and panels to its lineup for its 2024 Entertainment Summit at CES on Jan. 10 at the Aria. They include Rebecca Panico, VP, global head of media, Hilton; Alexys Coronel, head of U.S. entertainment and telecommunications, Amazon Ads; Jed Dederick, Chief Client Officer, The Trade Desk; and TikTok star Leenda Dong.

Panico and Dederick join Joe Cady, Executive VP, advanced advertising & partnerships, NBCUniversal, in the panel “Streaming Success” to discuss how advertisers and marketers are embracing the future of digital media buying.

Coronel will participate in a spotlight conversation on the power of fandom and the ability to strategically connect content and commerce.

In other new highlights, TalkShopLive CEO and co-founder Bryan Moore will dive into how live shopping, video commerce and serialized content sits at the intersection of retail and media.

TikTok star Dong (@yoleendadong) will speak on how she shapes her digital storytelling to engage with her over 17 million followers.

Additional new speakers include: Michael Scott, VP, ad sales & operations, Samsung Ads; Elana Sulzer, head of entertainment, Snap; Raja Rajamannar, CMO, Mastercard; Jenefer Brown, EVP & head of global products and experiences, Lionsgate; JiYoung Kim, chief product & services officer, GroupM & president, GroupM Nexus, North America; Jason Wong, SVP product, Disney Entertainment & ESPN Technology; Greg Reed, head of technology innovation and partnerships, Universal Pictures; and Colin Petrie-Norris, chief revenue and platform officer, Comcast/Charter’s Xumo.

These panelists join already announced speakers Steve Huffman, co-founder and CEO, Reddit; Rita Ferro, president, advertising sales, Disney; Catherine Halaby, head of entertainment, TikTok; Amy Reinhard, president, advertising Netflix; Charlie Collier, president, entertainment, Roku; and Marija Radulovic-Nastic, CTO, Electronic Arts.
