Vehicles Stuck on California Interstate as Heavy Snow Hits Sierra Nevadas

A long line of vehicles were trapped in heavy snow near Truckee, California, on Saturday, March 2, as blizzard warnings remained in place across the Sierra Nevadas.

Footage recorded by Chris Weather Chasing shows trucks and other vehicles stopped on Interstate 80.

The National Weather Service issued a blizzard warning for Truckee and several surrounding towns lasting until 4 am local time on Monday, warning up to 18 inches of snowfall was expected in some areas.
