Vexus Fiber donates $10k to Tyler ISD care closet

TYLER, Texas (KETK) — On Thursday, Tyler ISD announced Vexus Fiber’s sponsorship with Three Lakes Middle School Care Closet, offering $10,000 to support their needs.

According to a release, the care closet was created to provide a place for counselors to store items for their students. With Vexus’ donations, the closet has been able to purchase easy to make foods that students can taken home and use over the weekend.

Vexus also encourages the community to purchase at least one of the much needed items that have a long shelf life and are easy for students to prepare themselves.

“Vexus Fiber is proud to continue our Success Partnership with Tyler ISD,” Vexus Fiber Regional Vice President Cameron Miller said. “The Food Drive for Three Lakes Middle School means a lot to us, to ensure no child goes hungry, especially as summer approaches.
