Vicky Pattison lands her own show after split from John Noble

Vicky Pattison has landed her own TLC special following on from her split with fiancé John Noble.

The former Geordie Shore star revealed that she and her longterm partner had broken up last month, and today (December 17) TLC has confirmed that instead of the planned wedding series Vicky and John Said Yes, Vicky will now feature in a show documenting her life in the wake of the split.

With the working title Vicky Pattison: The Break Up, the TLC special will follow Vicky as she tries to understand and come to terms with the break up, as well as her attempts to move on afterwards.

"I had already started filming a wedding special for TLC and then everything changed," Vicky said in a statement. "It wasn’t an easy decision but when I commit, I commit 100% and I felt it important to continue to show the realities of my life at that tough time.

"I want people to see the real me and my real emotions, so they can understand the truth behind the headlines. Yes, I had my heart broken but there are more emotions to it and people for the first time will get to see that."

The show promises to give viewers an insight into the person behind the headlines, picking up the moment the wedding is called off and documenting Vicky's search for a new place to call home as her friends and family rally to cheer her up.

"The filming process has actually been therapeutic for me," Vicky added. "I hope that anyone who has been hurt in a relationship will be able to relate to me when watching the show.

"They’ll also get the pleasure of following my crazy, fun life – and get introduced to the people that make my world go around; my family, my friends, my management – it’s a bizarre thing to say right now, but I hope people will really enjoy it!"

Vicky Pattison: The Break Up is set to air on January 30, 2019 on TLC UK.
