Geordie Shore star Vicky Pattison has hit out on social media and was left in tears after appearing to have been banned from a flight to Italy after breaking passport rules.

The 36-year-old was flying out of Newcastle to continue making wedding plans ahead of her marriage to fiance Ercan Ramadan in September. The reality star was left in tears as she raged at airline EasyJet being being a 'destroyer of dreams'.

Her damaged passport contravened strict rules, leading to her being turned away from the flight. The I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! winner was devastated at having to return home as the rest of her party headed abroad, reports the Mirror.

She took to social media to share her frustration, claiming that her documents were damaged after a small dog chewed the corner of her passport.

Vicky said on Instagram: "Thought we were off to see our wedding venue today, we were so excited.. I rushed back from Newcastle, packed at midnight last night and jumped into bed and got three hours sleep... But I didn't mind because we were going for our menu tasting @ercan_ram.

"Only to have the @easyiet staff turn me away.. I've been travelling with my passport all year and no one's said anything, but it's definitely well travelled to be fair. Company policy is company policy and I get it, I'm just beyond gutted you know??"

An upset Vicky continued: "My wedding planner, her assistant, my florist, everyone are all heading out... And I'm just heading home... to have a really good cry I think. All the wasted money, how hard it was for me to get the time off, how excited we were, how I've wasted everyone's time.. I'm just really sad I think."

The reality star then shared a photo of the damage, as she continued: "This is what was wrong with my passport for everyone asking, in fairness, I don't know if that is really bad or not, I've just not had anyone ever tell me it was before.. cheeky little milo butt. Think rather than waste my glam, I'm going to take some new passport pictures, then cry..."

Vicky concluded with a screenshot of an online form, on which she is asked how her passport had been damaged. She wrote as the answer: "My dog chewed the side a bit." Vicky then added a caption, which read: "@easyjet you destroyer of dreams you."
