Vicky Pattison in tears as she's banned from flight for 'breaking passport rules'

Former Geordie Shore star, Vicky Pattison, has expressed her frustration after being denied boarding on a flight to Italy due to passport issues.

The 36-year-old was planning to fly out of Newcastle to continue preparations for her upcoming wedding to fiancé Ercan Ramadan in September.

However, she was left distraught when EasyJet staff turned her away because of damage to her passport, which she claims was caused by a small dog.

The reality TV star, who won I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! was devastated to have to return home while the rest of her party continued their journey, the Mirror reports.

She took to Instagram to vent her disappointment and criticise the airline as she uploaded an angry rant which said: "Thought we were off to see our wedding venue today, we were so excited.. I rushed back from Newcastle, packed at midnight last night and jumped into bed and got 3 hours sleep...

"But I didn't mind because we were going for our menu tasting @ercan_ram.

"Only to have the @easyiet staff turn me away.. I've been travelling with my passport all year and no one's said anything, but it's definitely well travelled to be fair Company policy is company policy and I get it, I'm just beyond gutted you know? ? ".

An emotional Vicky shared: "My wedding planner, her assistant, my florist, everyone are all heading out... ... X And I'm just heading home... to have a really good cry I think.

"All the wasted money, how hard it was for me to get the time off, how excited we were, how I've wasted everyone's time.. I'm just really sad I think."

She then uploaded a snap of the damage to her passport, saying: "This is what was wrong with my passport for everyone asking, in fairness, I don't know if that is really bad or not, I've just not had anyone ever tell me it was before.. cheeky little milo butt.

"Think rather than waste my glam, I'm going to take some new passport pictures, then cry.."

She concluded her update by uploading a screenshot of an online form where she was prompted to describe how the damage to her passport came about.

She typed: "My dog chewed the side a bit."

Accompanying this, she added a comment: "@easyjet you destroyer of dreams you."

Ecran, who previously starred on TOWIE, popped the question to Vicky in Dubai back in February 2022.

However, Vicky has since expressed that organising the wedding has been "overwhelming" and "f****** expensive".

In a candid chat with The Sun, Vicky confessed feeling "stressed", yet praised Ercan as "Ercan is amazing and so supportive."
