Victoria Beckham leads tributes to Roberto Cavalli
Popstar turned fashion designer Victoria Beckham is among a host of stars to pay tribute following the death of fashion designer Roberto Cavalli.
Cavalli passed away on Friday, according to a statement released by his company. He died at the age of 83 at his home in Florence, Italy following a long illness, Italian news agency ANSA reported.
The former Spice Girl shared a tribute on her Instagram Story, posting a photo of herself holding hands with Cavalli while he had his hand raised and made the peace sign.
She captioned the image: "So sorry to hear the sad news of Roberto's passing. He'll forever be an icon."
Former Destiny's Child members Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams also paid tribute, acknowledging how they and bandmate Beyonce often wore Cavalli outfits over the course of their careers.
Rowland wrote on her Instagram Story: "Mr Cavalli, thank you for your talent and creativity and for always being so incredibly kind. You made us feel so sexy and fly, you will be truly missed."
Desperate Housewives actress Eva Longoria, Mean Girls star Lindsay Lohan and model Cindy Crawford also celebrated Cavalli on Instagram, with fellow fashion designer Giorgio Armani, who branding Cavalli a "true artist" in a post on X, formerly Twitter.
