Victoria Beckham says 'still got it' as David rips famous purple wedding outfit amid fans' clear stance

Victoria Beckham has said she and her husband David have 'still got it' as she shared a behind-the-scenes look at them recreating their famous wedding photos on their 25th wedding anniversary.

The couple are celebrating their silver wedding anniversary on Thursday (July 4) and marked the occasion by re-wearing their memorable purple outfits from the big day, which took place in 1999 in Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland.

Victoria and David actually wore matching ivory outfits to say I do, before an outfit change for the reception whichh many remember thanks to the pictures of the newlyweds sporting the bright outfits while sitting on crushed-velvet purple thrones.

"Look what we found," the couple wrote on a joint Instagram post, referencing David’s head-to-toe purple satin suit with matching shoes and Victoria’s purple gown complete with an asymmetrical floral sash and silver heels with straps up to her knee.

David, however, did suffer a wardrobe malfunction as he and Victoria recreated their wedding day. In a video shared on Victoria's Instagram Stories, the former footballer appeared chuffed with himself as he buttoned up his shirt and matching trousers. However, he struggled to get the still perfectly fitted waistcoat on, gasping when it appeared to rip.

The Spice Girl, however, had no such problems, as she filmed herself posing in the mirror in her Antonio Berardi wedding dress, which still fit like a glove.

"Yep, still got it!" Victoria wrote alongside more photos of the pair which she shared with her more than 30 million followers. She added: "Can’t believe it’s been 25 years and they still fit! We love you so much @BrooklynPeltzBeckham @RomeoBeckham @CruzBeckham #HarperSeven xxxx."

And the comments quickly came flooding in with many fans sharing the same opinion. @roxyburger said: "When people say iconic this is what they should be referencing." @cameronharrison6 echoed: "Now THIS is a proper example for using the word 'iconic'!"

Victoria also went to share a bunch of behind-the-scenes of the day, which has been cemented in celebrity history since, alongside which she said: "Looking back on the days leading up to our wedding 25 years ago brings back so many amazing memories… I love you so much @DavidBeckham!! Kisses @BrooklynPeltzBeckham @RomeoBeckham @CruzBeckham #HarperSeven xx."
