Victoria Beckham snubs Spice Girls Wembley gigs but A-Lister Emma Stone is there
Victoria Beckham has jetted to the US on a strategically-timed business trip as The Spice Girls tour arrived in London.
Posh Spice announced last year she would not be joining Scary, Ginger, Sporty and Baby on their Spice Girls 2019 reunion tour as she was busy focusing on her fashion line.
There had been rumours that Beckham, 45, might make a surprise appearance on stage with her former bandmates during one of the last nights of the tour at Wembley Stadium.
But though she was reportedly invited to be there as an audience member, Beckham is currently in San Francisco, meeting executives at tech company Apple.
Beckham, had previously wished the girls “good luck” on social media as they started their tour.
However A-Listers including Oscar-winning actress Emma Stone were lining up to see the Wannabe singers perform.
Stone, 30, was delighted to meet her heroes after previously revealing she changed her name to Emma because of her love for Baby Spice.
Bunton, 43, shared snaps of herself and Stone meeting at Wembley, captioned: “When Emma met Emma. #2become1”
Stone previously confessed: "Growing up, I was super blonde. My real name is Emily, but I wanted to be called Emma because of Baby Spice. And guess what? Now I am.
"In second grade did I go up to the teacher on the first day and ask her to call me Emma? Yes, I did. Was it because of Emma Lee Bunton from the Spice Girls? Yes, it was."
Meanwhile, Mel B, 44, was delighted to be able to perform in front of her three daughter, Phoenix, 20, Angel, 12, and Madison, 7.
She wrote on Instagram: “Finally they get to see me (their mummy) get my Scary Spice on up on that huge Wembley stage and they are seeing this for the first time.”
