Video Shows Tornado Touch Down in Central Oklahoma

A tornado touched down near Stillwater in north-central Oklahoma on Saturday, April 27, the National Weather Service (NWS) confirmed.

Footage captured by resident Jeff Ventris shows the tornado forming and touching ground close to homes on the north side of Stillwater in northern Payne County.

The NWS warned that the tornado could also impact eastern parts of Noble County.

More tornadoes were reported near Calumet, west of Oklahoma City, and across the state border Texas’s Baylor and Wichita counties.
