Afghan President Makes First US Trip

Afghan president Ashraf Ghani landed in Washington D.C. on March 22, marking his first official visit to the United States. The visit kicked off with a visit to the Pentagon, following which the delegation traveled to Camp David, Maryland, on March 23, to discuss the changing context of partnership between the two nations, according to reports.

The footage shows US officials greeting Ghani as they disembark their aircraft.
