'Ball Lies Squarely With Greeks,' Says Draghi

European Central Bank President Mario Draghi told members of the European Parliament on June 15 that any decision on the disbursement of further support to Greece lay with the Eurogroup, and not the ECB. “This is a political decision,” he said, for “policy makers, not central bankers.” He added that the ECB was invested in a successful outcome, but that “the ball lies squarely in the camp of the Greek government to take the necessary steps.” Credit: YouTube/ECB
