Candles Lit on Anniversary of Tatar Deportation at Kyiv Ceremony

Crowds gathered in central Kiev on May 17 to mark the anniversary of the deportation of Crimea’s Tatars in 1944. People lit candles in memory of the Tatars who died during the deportation.
