Cyclone Pam Bears Down on Vanuatu

Tropical Cyclone Pam bore down on Vanuatu and intensified in the South Pacific Ocean east of the Solomon Islands on Thursday, March 12. The Vanuatu Meteorological Services issued a Tropical Cyclone Warning for Torba, Sanma, Penama, Malampa and Shefa provinces on March 13, warning of very destructive winds, very rough seas with heavy swells, torrential rainfall, floods and landslide.
