Islamic State Militants Take Iraqi Town of Al-Baghdadi

Much of al-Baghdadi, a town in Iraq’s western Anbar province, was captured by Islamic State (IS) militants in mid-February. Several days after the fall of the town, militant burned to death 45 people there, the BBC reported.

The town is situated only five miles from Ain al-Asad air base, a base that houses hundreds of US troops.
