Protesters Demand Resignation of Prime Minister Sharif

Scores of protesters took to the streets of Islamabad on Pakistan’s 68th Independence Day, calling for the resignation of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and an overhaul of electoral reforms.

Clashes broke out across Pakistan during the August 15 demonstrations, after former cricket star turned politician Imran Khan, was reportedly attacked by government supporters in Gujranwala.
