Second Plane Carrying Urgent Medical Aid Arrives in Yemen

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) announced on Friday, April 11, that its second cargo plane, carrying 32 tons of urgently needed medicines, bandages, IV fluids and surgical equipment, landed in Yemen’s besieged capital Sanaa amid fears for the safety of medical staff. The supplies, which the organization says are enough to treat 3,000 people, will be distributed to hospitals nationwide. Credit: YouTube/International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC)
