'Terrorism' Trial of Ukrainian Filmmaker Begins in Russia

The Ukrainian filmmaker Oleg Sentsov appeared in a Russian court on Tuesday, July 21, at the start of a trial for alleged terrorism. Sentsov was arrested in May 2014 in the Crimean capital Simferopol after reportedly attending a protest against the Russian annexation of Crimea. Sentsov pleaded not-guilty to charges of terrorism and conspiracy as the trial got underway in Rostov-on-Don. This footage shows Sentsov appearing in court on July 21.
