Mini revealed a new performance-oriented John Cooper Works variant for the latest Countryman crossover, which brings extra power and a snazzier design.
The Countryman JCW matches its flashy exterior accents with more red-tinged trim inside.
The dashboard features an eye-catching design consisting of numerous short vertical lines, lending a visual sense of speed.
There are also red accents on the steering wheel and the new John Cooper Works badge to remind the driver they bought the speedy version.
The dashboard fabric is made out of recycled polyester.
The JCW's four-cylinder engine produces a peak output of 312 hp, but Mini didn't explain how the "Boost" button works.
The seats also sport red accents and a neat two-tone look that sandwiches a checkered-flag-inspired insert.
The JCW features 12 ultrasonic sensors and four cameras, allowing for hands-free driving in certain conditions if the owner chooses the optional Driving Assistant Professional package.
The John Cooper Works model will start at $47,895.
Production will kick off in March 2024 before vehicles hit dealerships in the United States in May.
