The SLP Chevy S-10 Seeker is a mildly customized 1999 S-10 that carries a shockingly huge sticker price, proving that sometimes, 'tis better to leave well enough alone.

The 1999 SLP Chevrolet S-10 Seeker is a regular-cab, stepside, rear-drive S-10 with a host of mechanical and cosmetic bolt-ons.

Lowered suspension helps the Seeker eek out 0.84 g's on the skidpad.

The Seeker's boy-racer attitude does not extend to the interior.

A twin-filter intake and an aftermarket exhaust give the S-10 Seeker a claimed 15-hp bump for the 180-hp 4.3-liter V-6.

Tasteful understatement carries the day for the wheels.
