The 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE cabriolet replaces the C-class and E-class convertibles in the Benz lineup.

The 2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE Cabriolet is available in the U.S. market as the CLE300 and the CLE450.

The CLE300 features a 255-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four, a nine-speed automatic, and all-wheel drive.

The CLE450 has a 375-hp turbocharged 3.0-liter I-6 with the same gearbox and AWD system. Both engines employ a 48-volt starter-generator.

The CLE cabriolet is fractionally longer than the outgoing E-class convertible, but its wheelbase falls between the previous C- and E-class cabrios.

The fabric top is available in black, gray, or red.

The CLE cabriolet's standard Aircap system includes a wind deflector that rises from the windshield header and a mesh blocker that powers up between the rear headrests.

The standard Airscarf consists of vents at the base of the front headrests that can blow warm air onto the occupants.

The rear seatbacks are too upright for comfort, but they can be folded.

The dash layout is essentially that of the C-class sedan.

The angle of the central touchscreen can be adjusted to reduce sun glare.
