The Mazda CX-70 is, for all intents and purposes, a CX-90 with the third row of seats removed. Nothing else changes, from its packaging to its powertrain. While more cargo capacity is nice, it leaves this two-row feeling compromised and porcine.

Take a Mazda CX-90 PHEV, remove the third row of seats, do precisely nothing else, and bam—now you have a CX-70 PHEV.

The CX-70 is a two-row SUV with the cargo capacity of a three-row SUV.

The CX-70 PHEV relies on the same powertrain as a comparable CX-90, pairing an electric motor with a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter inline-four.

Net output is 323 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque.

Since the CX-70 is within 60 pounds of the CX-90, the performance figures for the two models are virtually identical.

The CX-70's cabin is just as nice as the CX-90's, which is to say, it's a very lovely place.

While driving verve remains at the forefront of Mazda's ethos, there's no getting around the vehicle's heft when the action gets spirited.

The second row offers ample space and plenty of creature comforts.

Removing the third row of seats didn't dramatically alter the CX-90's cargo capacity, so the CX-70's figures are almost the same.

She then rushes back to call for medical assistance after finding the cyclist unconscious.While waiting for help to arrive, Yolanda “repositioned her bus to shield the cyclist from traffic,” the MCTS said.Minutes later, firefighters arrived to help the injured cyclist.MCTS thanked Yolanda for her “kindness, hard work, and dedication to MCTS excellence.”The name of the cyclist was not released by the MCTS, nor were any details about their past or present medical condition. German Pilots Rescued From Greenland's Ice Cold Waters After Plane Crash
This remarkable video footage and these images show the moment two German pilots were rescued after surviving a dramatic crash landing in the icy waters off Greenland on Monday 29 July 2024. Luckily for the pair, the Danish authorities reacted quickly to haul them out of the icy cold Arctic waters - which remain just above freezing, even in summer. The pilots were en route from Goose Bay, Canada, to Narsarsuaq Airport in Greenland, a journey of 1,300 kilometers when their single-engine Piper Malibu encountered engine failure over the Labrador Sea. The plane, which had departed from Germany in mid-July to attend an airshow in the U.S., was on its return leg to Europe. efore being forced to ditch in the frigid waters, the pilots managed to send a mayday call to air traffic controllers in Nuuk, Greenland's capital. The Danish Joint Arctic Command quickly took charge of the rescue operation. A Challenger jet was dispatched to locate the accident site and monitor the situation. Both pilots had successfully exited the plane and boarded an inflatable survival raft. A Danish Navy frigate, the Triton, which was on a routine patrol nearby, was directed to the crash site by the Challenger jet. Less than an hour later, the Triton arrived and rescued the two pilots, subsequently transferring them to a hospital in Qaqortoq for observation.
