The 2025 Mini Cooper Hardtop has been revealed, specifically details about the sporty S model (shown here) that features a 201-hp turbo four.

The 2025 Mini Cooper S Hardtop has a 201-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine.

The S's turbo four also makes 221 pound-feet of torque, which is fed to the front wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission.

Mini estimates the Cooper S hatchback will accelerate to 60 mph in 6.3 seconds.

Mini will also offer a Hardtop base model with a 2.0-liter turbo four, but power output is not yet available.

Mini plans to reveal a convertible version later this year along with a high-performance JCW (John Cooper Works) model.

Sadly, Mini has no plans to offer a manual transmission on the new generation.

Inside, the gas-powered Cooper Hardtop features the same circular 9.4-inch OLED touchscreen first seen on the EV version.

Mini keeps things simple with the new Cooper Hardtop, however, that doesn't mean the design isn't still quirky. It is.

The Mini Cooper Hardtop will reach dealerships this fall, with the base model starting at $29,945 and the S starting at $33,195.
