A section of a village road will be closed for sewer lining works.

Plaisters Lane in Sutton Poyntz will be closed between Morlands and Whitestones, a distance of around 40 metres.

This work will begin on Monday, July 1 and is expected to be completed by Friday, July 5.

This closure is so that Wessex Water can carry out sewer lining works on the highway.

The alternative route, which will be sign-posted is as follows: Coombe Valley Road - A353 - Sutton Road.
