Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr has sent a message to Manchester United forward Jadon Sancho.

Sancho is currently spending the second half of the season on loan with Borussia Dortmund. The 24-year-old had only made three appearances for United this term before his move to the Bundesliga club in the January transfer window.

Wednesday night saw Sancho star for Dortmund in their Champions League semi-final first-leg against Paris Saint-Germain. Dortmund claimed a 1-0 victory at Signal Iduna Park, with the England international earning plenty of positive reviews following his performance.

After the game, Sancho posted several photos of himself on Instagram. His caption for the post read: "We go again next week in Paris!"

Vinicius Jr. was one of several stars in world football to reply to the post. In the comments, the Real Madrid star wrote: "What a player," a comment which has gained nearly 80,000 likes on its own.

Bruno Fernandes and Aaron Wan-Bissaka also both left comments with emojis in their messages to Sancho. Victor Lindelof simply wrote: "Mr Sancho," accompanied by two star-struck eyes emojis in his comment.

Since moving to the Bundesliga, Sancho has scored three goals with two assists in all competitions for Dortmund. Now the on-loan United man is just one game away from helping Dortmund reach the Champions League final, where Bayern Munich or Real Madrid would be their opponents should they get past PSG.

Sancho's performance for Dortmund against PSG earned plenty of positive reviews in the media. Sport1 wrote: “Played his best game since his BVB return. Sprayed with the joy of playing. Especially at the beginning very noticeable

"Often on the ball. Went into dribbling again and again. With his playfulness, he remembered the Sancho from past days.”
