Virginia Man Captures Double Rainbow, Lightning During Stormy Sunset

A man in Virginia captured a spectacular stormy sunset in Woodbridge on July 12.

Carlos Perez Mendez filmed video that shows lightning flashing across the sky, as a magnificent rainbow looms nearby. The faint lines of a second rainbow can also be seen in the footage.

“Never seen a double rainbow sunset with thunder and lightning!” Mendez wrote on his Twitter page.
