Vodafone announces Glastonbury and BST Hyde Park ticket draw, with hundreds of tickets up for grabs

Struggling to find a way into Glastonbury? Salvation might be at hand: the festival’s Official Connectivity Partner, Vodafone, has announced details of its upcoming Glastonbury Ticket competition.

As part of the competition, there will be 100 precious pairs of tickets up for grabs as part of the organisation’s VeryMe Rewards loyalty scheme.

Signing up for the draw is simple: Vodafone customers can access VeryMe Rewards through the My Vodafone app and tap ‘Play’ in the app to see if they’ve won a ticket. Winners will be instantly notified in-app, and those who win will have 24 hours to input their details before the ticket gets reallocated.

The prize draw opens at 00.01am GMT on April 15, and closes on April 21 at 23.59. Winners will receive a pair of weekend tickets to the festival (so pick a lucky friend to come along), starting from June 26 when doors open, and of course lasting until close. However, be warned: only one entry can be submitted per user.

Glastonbury 2024 is set to take place this year between June 26 and 30. Over the long weekend, more than 200,000 people will descend on Worthy Farm in Somerset for five days of dancing, celebration and long days spent sipping pints in the sunshine.

There will also, of course, be plenty of music, and the festival already boasts a stacked lineup. In addition to headliners Coldplay, Dua Lipa and SZA, Shania Twain is set to perform, as is Little Simz and Cyndi Lauper. And competition for tickets is fierce: in this year’s main sale, tickets sold out in under an hour, while co-organiser Emily Eavis said that only a “very limited” number would be made available for resale.

This is all very exciting, but there’s more. In addition to the Glastonbury draw, Vodafone customers also have the chance to win tickets to the American Express presents BST Hyde Park. Taking place between June 29 and July 14, the line-up will feature iconic artists like Stevie Nicks, Kylie Minogue and Robbie Williams.

Starting from April 22, 162 pairs of tickets will be up for grabs as part of the same instant win style of competition. Prizes and festival dates will be randomly allocated, and there will be two batches of prize draws: the first starts on April 22 at 00.01am and finishes April 28 at 23.59; the second goes from May 6 at 00.01am to May 12, 23.59.
