The Walking Dead and Nope star Steven Yeun can now be seen in the very first look at his new Netflix TV series Beef, which he stars in opposite Ali Wong.

Created by former It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia writer Lee Sung Jin, Beef follows Yeun and Wong as two people who become consumed by their feud, which is sparked by a road-rage incident. The series will premiere on April 6.

Yeun plays Danny Cho, a contractor who's struggling both with work and life and who's described as having a chip on his shoulder. Wong plays an entrepreneur named Amy Lau, who has a seemingly perfect life until it is disrupted by her feud with Danny.

"I've talked to Robert [Kirkman], here and there. He's super excited about it. He thinks season 2 is gonna be even better than season 1, which I have no doubt about," Yeun said.

"If you go to his source material, Invincible is an incredible comic, and just thinking about how much story hasn't been told from that run, it's gonna be bonkers. I'm really excited about it."

Meanwhile, Wong was last seen in Paper Girls, with other recent credits including Birds of Prey, Big Mouth and Love, Victor.
