Warrington man arrested after crash which saw firefighters rescue two people from car
A MAN has been arrested following a crash that saw two people rescued from a car.
At around 4.05pm yesterday, Tuesday, emergency services were called to a crash on Delph Lane in Daresbury.
Officers attended and found that there had been a collision between a Renault Captur and a Ford transit van.
Firefighters also attended the scene where they extricated two casualties from the car.
They were handed into the care of paramedics.
Following the incident, a 29-year-old man from Warrington was arrested on suspicion of drug driving and driving without due care and attention.
A Cheshire Police spokesperson said: “He has since been released under investigation pending further enquiries.”
