How to Watch 2024 GLAAD Media Awards Online
Oprah Winfrey, Kate Hudson, Sydney Sweeney and the cast of RuPaul’s Drag Race are among the special guests and presenters at the 2024 GLAAD Media Awards, which honors the best of LGBTQ representation in film, television, music, arts and culture.
This year’s awards took place in Los Angeles on March 14 but the show will be available to stream online via Hulu beginning on March 29.

This year’s GLAAD Media Awards are hosted by Wayne Brady, and will feature performances from Hudson (singing her new single, “Talk About Love”) and Chlöe, who will perform her newly-released song, “FYS,” live for the first time.
Oprah Winfrey will be honored with the Vanguard Award for her “decades long commitment to allyship,” while Niecy Nash-Betts will receive the Stephen F. Kolzak Award, named after the late L.A. casting director who famously fought against homophobia in the entertainment industry. The award now honors other members of the media and entertainment community who are working towards ending discrimination in Hollywood.
Special guests and presenters for the 2024 GLAAD Media Awards include the cast of Ted Lasso (including Hannah Waddingham and Jason Sudeikis) and Yellowjackets stars Melanie Lynskey and Liv Hewson, plus Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, Matt Bomer, Reneé Rapp, Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong and recent Grammy Best New Artist winner Victoria Monet.
This year marks the 35th annual awards show for GLAAD (founded as the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation). The event has grown to be the largest LGBTQ awards show in the world, with Hulu’s return as a streaming partner helping to extend visibility and reach.
GLAAD is the world’s largest lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer media advocacy group and organization, and this year’s show honors talent in film, television, news, and Spanish-language media that are working to ensure fair, accurate, and inclusive representations of LGBTQ people and issues.
