Watch: 90 Years Of The Queen’s Life In 90 Seconds

It’s fair to say the Queen has squeezed in a lot during her 90 years on Earth - and this stunning video proves it.

Starting from her birth in 1926, the clip shows a picture of Queen Elizabeth II from every year onwards - highlighting some historic occasions.

Right from the off, Her Royal Highness is seen performing Royal duties, sitting in carriages with her parents during public occasions - although not always looking happy about it.

As she grows throughout the years, the Queen is seen settling into life as a member of the Royal Family, before she is pictured waving to the crowds after marrying the Duke of Edinburgh in 1947.

The birth of her children, witnessing England win the World Cup inn 1966 and visiting the flowers laid out for Princess Diana after her death in 1997 show a lifetime of highs and lows for the monarch.

She is even pictured visiting the Queen Vic pub on the EastEnders set, which may well have been the highlight of her life so far.

As the Queen hits 90 this year, her reign shows no sign of slowing down and she was on hand at the announcement of a new tube line named after her - the Elizabeth Line.

She will officially mark her 90th birthday later this month with eight days of celebrations - including a huge concert featuring stars of music and screen that will be hosted by Ant and Dec.

A huge street party will also take place in June, while the rest of the country is being encouraged to hold local outdoor gatherings to celebrate.
