Watch Pixie Lott perform an Omelette Challenge rap
Pixie Lott may have dropped by Saturday Kitchen to promote her new album, but the hosts had another idea in mind when they recruited the singer to join them in taking the show in an unexpected new direction.
Yes, it turns out that what the show has been missing all the time is a rapping segment, so Pixie joined host Matt Tebbutt and Olly Smith in performing a rap to introduce the Omelette Challenge on today's show (November 18).
"Yo chefs, how fast can you go whisking omelettes on a live TV show," the rap opened, and we'll hand it over to the artists themselves for the rest of it:

This HAS to be a number one single surely?! #saturdaykitchen pic.twitter.com/D2dnUC4Xs0- SaturdayKitchen (@SaturdayKitchen) November 18, 2017
Unfortunately, the rap didn't particularly win over the viewers, who were more concerned about the fact it happened at 11am on a Saturday morning than anything else:
#SaturdayKitchen that rap - Too early on the morning for that...

Nothing like a rap on the show to make you realise that the puns weren’t actually that bad #SaturdayKitchen

Have put #SaturdayKitchen on for my Granny and I hope she’s enjoying it, cause I just cringed so hard at that rap I turned myself inside out.
