Witnesses at the scene report seeing large flames and sparks fly from the vehicle. Check out the video below to see footage from the scene:

When fire crews talked to the owner of the truck, the driver reportedly told them there was some small caliber ammunition exploding and gas cans in the truck bed. The driver said he believed the fire began due to a “homemade wiring that ran from two batteries in the bed of the truck through the rear cab and into the back seat area to power a custom sound system.”

The fire department said the information matched what they observed during and after the fire.

Crews were also able to stop the fire that started on a rental car, and officials noted heat damage to the outside driver side rear area.

Officials said no one was inside the car and there were no reported injuries.
