Watch “Ted” get high for the first time in new prequel series trailer

The seven-episode prequel series debuts on Peacock on Jan. 11.

Seth MacFarlane’s foul-mouthed teddy bear Ted is back in a new prequel series — and in the first trailer for the show, we see him take on the highs and lows of high school in Boston.

“Hey Johnny — how bad is school gonna suck?” Ted asks at the beginning of the trailer.

“You’re not gonna like it,” responds John (Max Burkholder, playing the young version of Mark Wahlberg's character from the 2012 and 2015 movies). “It’s like getting your nuts smashed together so hard they become just one nut.”

We then see Ted resisting school, saying that he has to guard the house when the family is away — which actually means he uses a nail gun to propel himself on a slip and slide, busting the TV in the process.

Ted then relents and ends up attending school with John, who expresses distress over his lack of experience with drugs, sex, and relationships. Ted does his best to help, purchasing drugs and smoking them out of a can right before family dinner. “Is there a f---ing gas leak or something?” Matty (Scott Grimes) asks after John and Ted seem dazed at the table.

Ted also tries to help John lose his virginity, shouting “Fresh penis! Get your fresh penis here, still has that new penis smell!” to his horrified classmates.

The trailer also shows glimpses of Ted dancing at a house party (seemingly dressed as an Ewok from Return of the Jedi),  harassing trick-or-treaters on Halloween, attending a school dance, and trying on a bra.

All seven episodes of Ted premiere Jan. 11 on Peacock. Watch the full trailer above.
