Watch as thunderstorm lights up Worcester skies - but how long will it last?

LOUD bangs and flashes of light are filling the sky in Worcester as a thunderstorm is underway.

Worcester was supposed to miss out on a yellow weather warning for thunder issued by the Met Office.

The weather warning is due to last until 8pm with most of The Midlands and the north of the county covered by the warning.

However, Worcester has not escaped the thunderstorm along with heavy rain showers.

The weather warning lasts until 8pm.

According to the Met Office weather prediction, Worcester will have rainfall until about 7pm.

Monday will see a mixed day of cloudy periods, sunny spells and the chance of showers.

Most of the showers should be light, with some places remaining dry. Feeling a bit cooler. Maximum temperature 17C.

The outlook for Tuesday to Thursday will stay changeable with periods of rain or showers, heavy at times.

Some brighter intervals, especially on Wednesday and Thursday and feeling warm in the sunshine. Rather breezy at times.
