Watch Tina Fey reunite with her “30 Rock ”costars Jane Krakowski and Jack McBrayer in new Super Bowl ad
Plus: Glenn Close in Tina drag!
Tina Fey, Jane Krakowski, and Jack McBrayer are together again — sort of. It's February, so it's not just a 30 Rock reunion [shudders], but also a Super Bowl commercial.
The actress stars in a new ad from Booking.com in which she suggests that the travel company can turn you into whatever version of yourself you want.
"There are so many Tina Feys I could be," Fey says. "So, I hired body doubles to help me out."
A short, joyous montage of alternate-universe Feys follows, starting with Krakowski dressed as "Splurgy Tina." Then comes "Rustic Tina," who looks like a bespectacled bigfoot and is being groomed by none other than Kenneth himself — a.k.a. McBrayer.
But just when you expect the next Fey clone to be another one of her pals from The Girlie Show — Tracy Morgan? Judah Friedlander? Lutz!? — we get another surprise: Glenn Close...?
The confusion involving Close in a Tina Fey wig is part of the joke. Fey looks into the camera, forgetting that she hired all these body doubles, and incredulously asks the same question: "Glenn Close?"
Fey, Krakowski, and McBrayer aren't the only ones hosting an SNL-adjacent reunion for this year's Super Bowl. Kate McKinnon and Pete Davidson also came together — with even funnier results — in a gameday spot for Hellman's.
30 Rock has been fodder for commercials since the show ended in 2013. There's this ad, an hourlong ad for Peacock that was labeled a reunion special, and Fey's reunion with Dean Winters, a.k.a. Dennis Duffy, for an Allstate ad in 2019.
