WATCH: How two glasses of wine sent Ellen DeGeneres to the emergency room

Cape Town – Ellen DeGeneres gave the perfect explanation about how two glasses of wine sent her to the emergency room with a dislocated finger.

The voice of Finding Dory opened her show with a bandaged finger and didn’t keep her audience members guessing about what happened.

She starts off by saying: “I broke my finger and I know you what you’re thinking, ‘how can you host a show without the tip of your ring finger’... I’ll tell you what happened.”

She then proceeds to describe how she had “two glasses of wine and fell into a door” when greeting her dogs after a night out with her wife Portia.
