On Tuesday, Whoopi Goldberg took a little time to, well… check out of The View. During a segment on Kate Middleton’s whereabouts, the EGOT winner made her feelings known about the nation’s Big Foot-like obsession with the Princess of Wales, then forfeited her role as Hot Topics moderator.

“This is not something they’re worried about over in London. We’re the only ones who do this,” she opined as her fellow hosts — Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Farah Griffin — continued to obsess over alleged footage of Middleton that was obtained by TMZ Monday.
Was it Middleton?
Was it a body double?
Ms. Goldberg did. not. care. Instead, she made herself comfortable. She sank into her seat, put her feet up on the table and zoned out for a solid minute.
At one point, she turned to studio audience and asked, “Does someone have a joint?” It barely registered with the rest of the panel.
Once their discussion was over, Behar turned to Goldberg and told her it was time to wake up. A commercial break had arrived to rescue her from this ridiculous conversation.
