Water flooded a busy passageway inside the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center subway station in downtown Brooklyn on Thursday afternoon, April 23.

Video from Jonah Schweitzer shows people wading through the water, including some with plastic bags covering their shoes in order to keep them dry.

The cause of the flooding was not immediately apparent. A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Transportation Authority told Storyful the issue was being investigated. Credit: Jonah Schweitzer via Storyful
