It's being called the society wedding of the decade. The Duke and Duchess of Westminster shared photos from their wedding today, offering fans a glimpse into the wedding of one of Britain's richest men who is also godfather to two princes.

Hugh Grosvenor, 7th Duke of Westminster, and his new wife, Olivia Henson, got married on Friday, June 7 at Chester Cathedral in a ceremony attended by Prince William. The Prince of Wales was an usher on the day, and many expected Prince Harry to also be in attendance, as he had been close friends with the groom. However, the Duke of Sussex stayed at home in California with Meghan Markle after reportedly declining the invite so as not to take attention away from the couple's big day, reports the Express.

Hugh and Olivia, 31, had been together for two years before getting engaged last year, and will now settle down at the billionaire's Cheshire estate. Hugh is close with many of the royals - he is godson to Prince George and Prince Archie, and is the godson of King Charles - but Prince William was the only member of The Firm in attendance.

The duke, 33, who inherited his title when his father passed away in 2016, is godfather to both Prince George and Prince Archie, and has an estimated net worth of £12 billion ($15.3 billion), Vogue reports, making him the wealthiest person under 40 years old in the United Kingdom. The Grosvenor family has been a central part of the British aristocracy for centuries and can trace its lineage back to 1066 and the Battle of Hastings. The Duke is also the head of Grosvenor Group, a multi-billion dollar real estate empire that owns over 1,500 properties in 60 different countries, including swathes of the most expensive areas of central London.

According to Sky News, Henson works as a senior account manager at Belazu, an ethical food production company in London that ships high-quality, sustainable natural ingredients to shoppers through collaborations with farmers.

Olivia wore a veil designed by Emma Victoria Payne that incorporated floral motifs from her great-great-grandmother's veil, dating back to around 1880. Her dress was made by the same designer, and she wore blue heels and the Faberge Myrtle Leaf Tiara made just for Grosvenor brides to wear on their wedding day and has been in the family since 1906.

The ceremony was interrupted by two Just Stop Oil protestors at around 12:30 pm, who used fire extinguishers to spray powder paint in the direction of the wedding party as they left the Cathedral. Police quickly removed them as onlookers booed. JSO named them as Polly, 73, a care worker from Norfolk, and Sheila, 69, a former NHS nurse from Bristol.
