Legions serving frog leg dinners

Craving frog legs? Both the Middletown and Chesterfield American Legions will be serving them over the weekend: on Friday night at 5 p.m. at Chesterfield American Legion Post 408 (along with steak dinners) and on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. (until sold out) at the American Legion Post 216, Middletown.

Reardon hosts 'Dancing Princesses'

Choreographers and dancers from the Anderson Young Ballet Theatre will perform "The 12 Dancing Princesses" on Saturday and Sunday, March 2 and 3, at Reardon Auditorium, on the campus of Anderson University.

The play is a Brothers Grimm classic, which follows 12 princesses/sisters who regularly wake up to damaged shoes.

This is the 50th anniversary season for AYBT.

Joe Gatto's Night of Comedy at Emens

Comedian Joe Gatto will bring his show to Emens Auditorium on the campus of Ball State University at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 2.

He is best known for his TV shows "Impractical Jokers" and "The Misery Index" and hosts a comedy podcast called "Two Cool Moms" on iHeart Radio.

Tickets are available at the Emens box office.

Auditions for 'All Shook Up'

Mainstage Theatre auditions for the upcoming show "All Shook Up" will be held on Saturday, March 2, from 2 to 5 p.m. at The Alley Theatre, Anderson.

Those auditioning must be 13 and over; prepare a short comedic monologue; sing 16-32 bars of an Elvis song; bring digital music; a speaker will be provided. Be prepared to learn a few dance steps/show movement.

The show will take place April 25-27 and May 3-5.
