A bakery in Wales has been named as one of the best in the UK by The Telegraph. Ty Melin Bakery was named along with 12 other bakeries as 'worth queuing up for' by the news site.

The bakery, owned by couple Angharad Conway and Lance Gardner, first opened in 2021 in Cardiff Bay. They now have three locations in south Wales; Abergavenny, Cardiff Bay and Wellfield Road in Cardiff, with the latter referred to within the article.

The pair, who first met through their love of baking in 2016, have both had successful careers working in top establishments across the UK under star chefs. They decided to combine their talents and passion for baking by opening the Ty Melin Bakery just after the Covid-19 pandemic.
