IT’s international chocolate day on Sunday – a whole day dedicated to the tasty treat.

And in celebration, we’re launching our new Best of 2024 search – we want to find where in Mid Cheshire is Best for Dessert.

Where do you go for a totally tasty treat? Where serves the area’s best desserts?

In our Best of 2024 campaign, we’ve given out ten awards in Mid Cheshire for hair, nails, fitness, tattoos and beer garden as well as pies, roast dinner, fish and chips, breakfast and cocktails.

Voting is currently taking place for Best Independent Shop or Business 2024 in Mid Cheshire with the closing date midnight on Sunday, July 7.

Vote for Mid Cheshire's Best Independent Shop or Business 2024

This week, we want to celebrate everything sweet, whether that’s chocolate brownies, ice cream sundaes or celebration cakes.

HOW IT WORKS:

Each Friday morning we will reveal new categories via our social media pages and ask you who is the best. Nominations will then close each Monday morning at 12pm.

Every Thursday we will publish a shortlist of finalists with voting officially opening.

You will be able to vote in one of three ways:

- By commenting under the relevant post on our Northwich and Winsford Guardian and Knutsford Guardian Facebook or Twitter pages = 1 vote

- By entering via the online article on our Northwich and Winsford Guardian or Knutsford Guardian website = 2 votes

- By entering via the Northwich and Winsford Guardian or Knutsford Guardian newspaper = 5 votes

Voting closes each Sunday evening at midnight.

The following Wednesday evening we will announce the winner of that category on social media.

Usual Newsquest competition rules apply.
