Westbourne eatery applies to sell alcohol

AN eatery in Westbourne has applied to sell alcohol.

The owners of Francos Yard submitted a new premises licence application to BCP Council’s Licensing Authority.

It requests permission for recorded music at the site, as well as ‘on sales’ of alcohol, between 9am and 11pm.

Currently, Francos Yard, located at 2 Alum Chine Road, is open Wednesday to Sunday between 9am and 3pm.

It has become popular for its breakfast and brunch offerings, and its friendly setting and service.

Francos Yard submitted the premises licence application to the local authority on Tuesday, June 4.

The application is yet to be determined, and will remain open for public consultation until Tuesday, July 2.

Representations should be made in writing to BCP Council’s Licensing Authority on or before this date.
