The survey involved looking at the prices of Budweiser, Carling, Guinness, Heineken, Peroni and Stella to then work out the average cost of a pint at all of the Spoons. Top of the list for the most wallet friendly pint is The Church House in Wath-upon-Dearne, South Yorkshire, with a very budget friendly average price of £3.19.

Joint second on the list went to another South Yorkshire pub and Washington's Sir William de Wessyngton, with both of their average coming in at £3.23. Just behind in bronze medal position is The Harry Clasper in Whickham, with an average of £3.24 a pint.
