Pub chain Wetherspoons is introducing a number of new dishes to its menu beginning next month. The new menu will feature over a dozen new dishes including additions to its vegan range.

A Ramen noodle bowl will be available from Wednesday, May 1. Consisting of noodles, bean sprouts, shitake mushroom, spring onion, pak choi, bamboo shoots, red onion, sliced chillies and coriander in a light broth, is it low calorie and suitable for vegans. Customers could also add a poached egg or grilled chicken breast for an additional charge.

A Shawarma chicken wrap will also be featured on the new menu as either a 12-inch wrap or as part of the new range of 10-inch wraps. The Shawarma chicken wrap includes spiced pulled chicken, Middle Eastern spices, Naga chilli, garlic and herb sauces, tomato, onion, rocket and fresh mint. The Ramen and Shawarma chicken wrap are both available as part of a meal deal with a choice of soft drink or alcoholic beverage.

Three other wraps will be coming into Wetherspoons across Bristol, including a small vegetarian brunch wrap (consisting of a fried egg, two vegan sausages and cheddar cheese), a southern-fried chicken wrap with salad leaves and smoky chipotle mayo, and a small fried halloumi-style cheese wrap with salad leaves, sweet chilli sauce, tomato and cucumber.

Three new dishes will also be offered in the breakfast servings. A Fiesta Brunch will soon be seen on the menu and it contains a poached egg, toast, guacamole, pico de gallo, grilled halloumi-style cheese and a mushroom salsa.

Fresh fruit and yoghurt on American-style pancakes will also be served in May. The pancakes can come with either bananas, strawberries, blueberries or a maple-flavour syrup.

Three more dishes are available for vegans on the breakfast menu. Wetherspoons are introducing vegan beans on toast, vegan sausage butty and a vegan tomato and basil soup.

Finally, two new desserts will be on the menu. There will be a sticky toffee pudding, which comes with the option to add ice cream or custard, and a Millionaires dessert, with ice cream, shortbread biscuit, chocolate sauce and toffee sauce.
