Police have announced an "extensive" search of the River Tay following the disappearance of 64-year-old Clare Marshall from Perth, Scotland.

Marshall's disapperance comes on the heels of the search for Gaynor Lord, 55, whose body was found in the river River Wensum on 15 December, a week after she was reported missing.

Police have been searching in the Dundee Road area and in the River Tay, and have mobilised the search helicopter to aid in their efforts to find her.

"We're concerned for Clare's welfare and have been carrying out extensive searches in the area of Dundee Road and the River Tay," said Inspector Kris McCall.
